The tech overlords are determined to make AI part of our lives and have deemed that change should begin by infiltrating the written word and the digital image. They could have it do our taxes for us. But no. They could have it replace CEOs and CFOs and COOs but no. Replace the creators.
I wanted to see how at risk I am from the poetry world being subsumed with AI rendered poems so I asked ChatGPT to;
"write a poem about the way life is both tragic and beautiful in the style of David Gate"
and this is what it came up with:
In the quiet dawn, where shadows gently play,
Life breathes in whispers, soft and far away.
A dance of light and dark in tangled grace,
A fleeting moment, an eternal embrace.
